The Good Food Project is a huge organic effort in our community. We have contributed financially to specific school gardens & are one of the sponsors through the Good Food Project, which is part of the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
Volunteers are always needed. The Good Food Project now has a number of additional vegetable gardens in our area, both community gardens & school gardens. Ask Frances Boudreaux if she has a garden in your own area that might be more convenient for you. Frances has found that children will actually eat broccoli if they grow it themselves. Come help!
Contact Frances Boudreaux, Director of the Good Food Project & ask to be put on her e-mail list for Sprout, her extremely informative newsletter: firstname.lastname@example.org
Look for our booth at Spring & Fall Herb Days where we sell our delicious homemade herbal breads, cakes, cookies, etc.
